Water Pressure
Low pressure is not automatically a repipe. We put a gauge on it. Static should read 50 to 80 psi, and it should not drop more than about 10 psi with one faucet running.
Whole-Home Repiping
Galvanized pipe corrodes shut from the inside until a one inch line runs like a pencil lead. When the pipe material is the problem, we repipe in PEX or copper.
Main Water Line Repair
The buried line from the meter to your house rusts under the weight of the soil, then pinholes or bursts. We repair and replace service lines and put the yard back.
Excavation
Sewer and water lines in Utah sit about eight feet down, below the frost line. We dig, repair, and backfill without wrecking the rest of your yard.

How often should my home's plumbing be inspected?
Every two to three years, and sooner in an older home or one with galvanized pipe. A camera down the sewer every five years is cheap next to what it catches.
Are your plumbers licensed and background-checked?
Yes. Rare Breed holds Utah license #11166591-5501, and every technician who walks into your home is licensed, trained, and background-checked.
Do you charge for a diagnostic?
Yes. There is a service call fee, and we waive it when you have us do the work. If we do not yet know what is wrong, there is a diagnostic fee, which differs during business hours and after hours, and it is often rolled into the repair depending on how involved the diagnosis was. If you already know what you need and just want a price, that is an estimate, and those are often free. Ask when you book and we will tell you the number before we drive. Estimates on replacement work are free. We would rather read a gauge and a camera than guess, and you get the real answer either way.
Can I finance a plumbing upgrade?
Yes, for qualified homeowners, on larger projects like water line replacements and repipes. Ask before the work starts and we will walk you through the options.
