We run out of three shops: Sandy, Bountiful, and Orem. From those we cover Salt Lake, Davis, Utah, Weber, Summit, Tooele, Wasatch, Cache, and Box Elder counties. We also run jobs in Juab and Morgan when the work is a fit. That is the honest boundary, and it came from where our trucks actually finished jobs, not from a map we wished were bigger.
Utah is not one water system. Hardness swings by city and by season, Herriman runs about three times Draper in the summer, Bountiful water is acidic, and Ogden is different from the rest of the state. Sewer laterals here sit about eight feet down, below the frost line, so the national signs of a leak do not show up the way they do in warm climates. We build for the town we are standing in.

SALT LAKE COUNTY
Hard water, inversion season, and a lot of houses old enough to be on their second water heater.
Our Sandy shop covers this county. Scale is the thing that kills equipment here, so most of what we do is softeners, water heaters, and the repairs that come from years without one. Older Salt Lake City neighborhoods add galvanized and cast iron to the list.

DAVIS COUNTY
Acidic water in places, hard water in others, and cold snaps that find every weak spot.
Our Bountiful shop on Main Street covers this county, and it is where Rare Breed started. Bountiful water runs acidic, which is a different problem from the scale you get further south, so the fix is not always a softener.

UTAH COUNTY
Fast growth, water quality that changes town to town, new builds next door to aging systems.
Our Orem shop covers this county. Vineyard water is questionable enough that we test before we recommend anything, and the older Provo and Springville housing stock brings the same drain and sewer work we see up north.

WEBER COUNTY
Ogden water is its own animal, and it is not like the rest of the state.
Court’s line on it is blunt: Ogden water is bad and it is different. We test before we spec treatment here instead of copying what works in Salt Lake County. Everything else, water heaters, drains, furnaces, runs the same as anywhere else on the Front.

SUMMIT COUNTY
Altitude, long winters, and homes that sit empty for weeks at a time.
Freeze protection matters more up here than anywhere else we work. Hydronic heat, snow melt, and hose bibbs that were never drained are the calls we get. Drive times are longer from Sandy, so we will tell you honestly when we can be there.

TOOELE COUNTY
Hard water, well water in the outlying areas, and long runs between houses.
A lot of Tooele County homes are on wells or on systems that were never sized for the water coming through them. We test first. Service lines out here are also longer, which changes how a leak shows up.

WASATCH COUNTY
Radiant floors, snow melt, and mountain builds with complicated mechanical rooms.
Heber and Midway run more hydronic heat per house than anywhere else we cover, so this is boiler and radiant country. Same 3-hour appointment window, same clear quote, just a longer drive from the shop and we will say so when you call.

CACHE COUNTY
A longer run from the Bountiful shop, and we will say so when you call.
Logan, Hyrum, and the towns around them are real completed-job cities, not a wish list. Drive time is longer than a Front-range call. We tell you that before we book it.

BOX ELDER COUNTY
Same honesty as Cache: we have finished jobs in Brigham City, Willard, and Tremonton.

If you are outside them we will tell you straight instead of driving out and charging you for the trip. We also finish jobs in Cache County (Logan, Hyrum, Providence, Benson, Wellsville) and Box Elder County (Brigham City, Willard, Tremonton). Juab and Morgan are one-off job counties. Call and ask.
