A Herriman water service we corrected on Emmeline Drive

On Emmeline Drive (84096), we were finishing inside connections on a new 1-inch main waterline when it turned out the exterior trench had landed about six feet off the planned entry into the home. The crew corrected the path, made the inside connections, turned the water on, and pressure-tested until there were no leaks. Herriman City confirmed no permit was required for the on-property portion. That is the west-side work Herriman generates: new poly services, meter-to-house runs, and indoor tie-ins that have to land in the right place the first time.

Do you dig and replace main water lines in Herriman?

Yes, including meter-to-house poly services and indoor tie-ins. We protect the yard, bore under hardscape when it saves concrete, and pressure-test before we leave.

Is Herriman water really harder on plumbing?

Yes, in summer especially. Herriman City says its local wells usually run 25 to 60 grains per gallon, while the Jordan Valley Water it blends in runs about 10 to 12. The city runs only Jordan Valley water from mid-October through the off-peak season, so hardness at your tap swings with the seasons. That shows up as faster sediment in tanks, pitted fixtures, and shorter fixture life. Water treatment and water pressure have their own pages when that is the root cause. Which parts of Herriman do you cover?

Fort Herriman, the Mountain View Corridor neighborhoods, and the Rose Canyon side, all on the Sandy shop’s west-south run with South Jordan and Riverton. Shop details are on the Sandy location page.

How fast can you get to Herriman?

We schedule a 3-hour appointment window from the Sandy shop. Emergencies jump the line.

Do you find hidden leaks in Herriman homes?

Accessible ones, yes: walls, cabinets, and mechanical rooms. Indoor leak calls show up often on 84096 streets. We do not own slab or acoustic leak location equipment, so we will not claim that work. More on leak repair.

My water heater had broken and Thomas was there within a day, and the water heater was replaced and running smoothly the following day. I was grateful for Thomas’ professionalism and knowledge on what was wrong. He explained it in a way that made it easy for me to understand. The parts and the labor were all set out for me to see what would need to be done and how much it would cost. I feel the price was quite reasonable. I know I have purchased a good product. I appreciated Thomas’ cheerfulness. I felt like I was in good hands. I will definitely have them come back for any water or plumbing needs. I have for my home.
